Today is Billy Rose's birthdate. He was born in 1899 (died in 1966.) During his lifetime Billy Rose was a major force in entertainment owning the famous Ziegfeld Theatre and the Diamond Horseshoe Nightclub. However today Billy is most remembered as a member of the Songwriter's Hall of Fame and for his great song "It's Only a Paper Moon" made famous by the Nat King Cole Trio.
