NME reports: Dan Brown, author of 'The DaVinci Code' was a singer/songwriter back in the early 90's. His songs to me sound like a mesh between Richard Marx and Kenny Loggins writing for a made for TV movie. With lyrics like: "I take you to bed and push the phone to my head/You make me feel like a man". Be sure to check out the clips on NME for a good laugh.
