Happy 100th Birthday Woody!
Woody Guthrie! Famous for songs like "This Land is Your Land", "Vigilante Man", "A Picture From Life's Other Side" and "Do-Re-Mi", Woodrow Wilson Guthrie was born in Okemah, Oklahoma on July 14th, 1912. Guthrie spent most of his late teens and twenties traveling with migrant workers from Oklahoma to California learning traditional folk and blues songs, which earned him the nickname the "Dust Bowl Troubadour".
