Diego Stocco - Luminopiano Preview

Recently Sound Designer/Composer Diego Stucco was invited to guest lecture at the Art of Sound in Santa Monica, CA, where he previewed his new Luminopiano custom instrument:

"It's an instrument based on eight lightbulbs, with a microphone carefully placed inside each one. By tapping the lightbulb, the internal filament vibrates and makes a very nice sound, and each one sounds different because of the size of the filament and placement of the microphone."
