Was following their new synth annoucement/teaser with curiosity... as soon as I saw your post about their limited price, I looked at my calendar, my watch and jumped on iTunes... had to keep trying but got it at the 20th try :D (was "this app is being changed by...")
I like it, the GUI is cool, the "keyboard" is weird but I'll be using it through MIDI so, no biggie. And the audio engine looks interesting. It's a modulation centric "synth" (sample player?) but it's interesting enough to explore.
I tried it with (hardwired) MIDI and... erm... it has some bugs they need to fix. Missing Note OFFs (i.e. infinite hold), doubled Note ONs, also some unexpected crashes... guess iOS5 or RAM related. etc... but I'm sure they'll fix all of that soon (well, I really hope so).
Maybe by then, you'll be a proud owner of an iPad =)
When you do, I recommend taking a look at Tempo Rubato's NLogSynth PRO for iPad. Quite a good and complete "traditional" Poly Synth very complete, feature-wise, for those interested in portable poly synths :)

Cool! Good to know, I picked it up - but seeing as I don't own an iPad it's not doing me much good ;-).
eh :D
