Talking/Filthy/Whomp/Skrillex Dubstep Bass for Ableton Live

Using just simpler and redux we create a very modulated, talking style dubstep bass. No external filters are necessary with this technique.

Part 2:

Part 2 of my talking bass series, this time around we use an autofilter and sidechaining to have our talking bass sort of "vocode" along with another track (in this case the drums) It's a very effective way to keep your wobbling in sync with your drum loops and still give you lots of performance options.

PPG Wave 2.2 "Modulator"

Video demo of the PPG Wave 2.2. As some of you may know the PPG Wave was used as the basis for the last 11 wavetables in Reason's Thor synthesizer's Wavetable Oscillator. The Wave 2.2 oscillators can generate over 2,000 different single-cycle 8-bit digital waveforms. In addition to the digital oscillators the Wave has an analog VCA envelope and VCF filter sections for a classic and warm sound. Check it:
