Skychord Cloudbuster Delay Pedal w/ Sleepdrone 6

Big City Music uploaded a great video this morning of the Skychord Cloudbuster Pedal:

"Check out the crazy/cool Skychord Cloudbuster pedal! The Cloudbuster is a super fun delay/sequencer. Each step controls the delay time for that step. There are also controls for sequence speed, delay glide, overall delay time, feedback amount, and more.

We start with a simple drone from the Sleepdrone 6 and eventually fade out the dry signal almost completely. The Cloudbuster is the only pedal of it's kind and we love it!"

4ms ABG and the Ekdahl Moisturizer

Here we have the 4ms Autonomous Bassline Generator running through the Ekdahl Moisturizer. The ABG is a kit that can be easily built and is a whole lot of fun. It can continually produce varying melodies seemingly by magic!

The Moisturizer is a super-cool spring reverb unit with an analog multimode filter and LFO for modulation. One of the best things about the Moisturizer is that there are controls for wet/dry amounts for both the filter and reverb sections. The built in LFO can modulate the filter cutoff frequency and the filter mode which can yield some great results. There's also a host of jacks on the back of the Moisturizer, giving voltage control over filter cutoff, filter mode, wet/dry amounts for reverb and filter as well as LFO speed and an LFO output. Gated, filtered, modulated, funkdafied spring reverb! The Moisturizer sounds great on guitar too and anything else you can think of;)

OTO Biscuit at BCM

Here's our first noodle with the incredible OTO Biscuit using the Studio Electronics SE-1X Red Eye as our source.

The Biscuit (pronounced bis-quee in French) is a stereo bit crushing effect with an analog multimode filter, true 8-bit pitch shifting, delay with midi sync, wave-shaping, and a filter sequencer. The Biscuit can save 16 presets, receive midi clock sync, cc and program changes.

The built in analog filter sounds amazing and has low, high and band-pass modes. There are dedicated dry and wet amount knobs which are labeled, "naked" and "dressed". There's also built in overdrive on the input with adjustable amount.

The Biscuit is a must-have sound shaping tool. The king of bit crushing has arrived!

The OTO Biscuit is in my opinion the most exciting effects device to come out since Korg made the Kaoss Pad. Gritty Bit Reduction, Pitch Shifting, Delay, Waveshaping, and Step Filtering - all at 8 Bits! Pick one up now at Big City Music for $595! Or best yet, get me one as a belated birthday gift. Come on, I'll only turn 29 a dozen or so times ;-).
